The offer is aimed at young people and adults who have fled. Rehearsals will be conducted in Ukrainian (translated), German and English.
As a repertoire, modern gospel is used as a genre because it is easy to learn, creates community
and energizes. The selection of music does not want to be understood primarily as a religious expression or presuppose a faith and thus exclude others. Rather, we are of the opinion that the faith of each individual is his private affair, is multifaceted and can and should be expressed in this diversity through music.
Initiators are the Shabach! Nicolas Schulze & Zubin Sethna GbR and the AWO Kulturhaus Babelsberg, supported by the city
of Potsdam. Choir director is Zubin D. Sethna.

Ми розраховуємо на молодь та дорослих, що виїхали через війну. Репетиції проводитимуться українською (переклад), німецькою та англійською мовами.
Ми співаємо сучасну госпел музику. Твори легко вивчити і ця музика створює єдність та заряджає енергією. Віросповідання учасників не має стосунку до музичного відбору – це особиста справа кожного. Ми тут щоб виражати себе через музику.

Proben ab 01. Juni 2022: immer mittwochs, 17:15-19:15h
Das Angebot richtet sich an geflüchtete Jugendliche und Erwachsene. Die Proben werden auf Ukrainisch (übersetzt), Deutsch und Englisch durchgeführt.
Als Repertoire wird das Genre Modern Gospel verwendet, weil es leicht zu erlernen ist, Gemeinschaft schafft und Energie spendet. Die Auswahl der Musik will nicht primär als religiöser Ausdruck verstanden werden oder einen Glauben voraussetzen und damit andere ausschließen. Vielmehr sind wir der Auffassung, dass der Glaube eines jeden Einzelnen seine Privatsache und vielfältig ist und in dieser Vielfalt durch Musik ausgedrückt werden kann und soll.
Initiatoren sind die Shabach! Nicolas Schulze & Zubin Sethna GbR und das AWO Kulturhaus Babelsberg, unterstützt von der Stadt der Stadt Potsdam. Chorleiter ist Zubin D. Sethna.
